Bio
Kit Solowy is a theatre artist hailing from the Bay Area of California. There, amidst the towering Sequoias and Pacific coastline, Kit discovered the art of embodiment and the power of rhythm.
As a performer, Kit revels in the appetites and archetypes of Commedia Dell’Arte and delights in the world opened up by the red nose of the clown. Kit has trained in San Francisco with Dan Griffith’s Clown Lab and in 2020 completed the Professional Training Program at Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, California. Most recently, Kit graduated with Distinction from their Master of Fine Arts degree at Rose Bruford College in partnership with Arthaus.Berlin.
Above all, Kit finds pleasure creating moments of presence and joy for the audience. Kit’s enthusiasm spreads like wildfire, igniting hearts and inspiring others to believe in the transformative power of theatre.
